Reading through the long list of tasks, I was shocked at how much I felt like I could and have accomplished in a classroom but with all the good comes the bad. The ones I felt that I needed to brush up on and master are 2.C, 4.A.1, and lastly, 4.B.8.
The first one that I felt i needed to master before teaching any sort of classroom is 2C. 2.C is, discover and construct meaning from a wide variety of culturally relevant literary and expository text including fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and drama. The main reason why I need to educate myself on this is that I am not culturally aware of the relevant literary and expository text in any kind of genre. I am not up to date on the relevant texts in schools nowadays or what even is allowed to be taught and what isn't.
The second on that I picked out from the list is 4.A.1, Works representing and authored by a range of cultures and ethnicity globally and within the United States. I am uneducated in different cultures and ethnicities around the world and even my own here in the United States, so that is something I feel i need to work on and research before stepping into a classroom. 4.A.1 is such an important topic nowadays with the current element of the united states so I think it is important to have the knowledge as well as apply it to activities and be able to teach it to other people the right way.
the third and last one is 4.B.8,  structure (e.g., structure, denouement, meter). This is something I personally struggle with, I did not have the best educator for my poetry class so I am unaware of how to use this method of literature. Educating myself or having some rightfully teach me the way of structure could benefit my future students as well as myself.
